Land Conservation & Water Management
Erosion & sediment control; Pollution prevention; Improve water quality & onsite wastewater disposal systems; Storm water & flood control; and Farm water supply.

Goal: Promote Visible Use of Pollution Prevention BMPs in at Least 5 Targeted Watersheds in the V.I. by 2012.

Objective 1: Install at least 5 BMP Demonstration Projects in the VI by 2012.
Objective 2: Train at Least 300 Target Audience Members in Proper Pollution Prevention BMP Use & Installation by 2012.
Objective 3: Increase Awareness / Knowledge of V.I. Conservation & Pollution Prevention Issues Amongst at Least 20% of V.I. Population by 2012.

Goal: Build Organizational Capacity for at Least 12 Local Organizations / Agencies in the V.I. by 2012.

Objective 1: Improve Leadership / Organizational Development Skills of at Least 300 Local Organization / Agency Members by 2012.
Objective 2: Increase Capacity of at Least 4 Local Community Organizations and at Least 100 Local Organization / Agency Members by 2012.
Objective 3: Increase number of VI RC&D Council members and volunteers by 10% over 2007 membership by 2012.
